they are really good to deal with (which is rare for americans :P ). Me and my mate brought one each (group buy to help make the shipping almost afforable) with all the extra's like the electronic valve and clamp mounts etc and it came to 650nzd all up

They have never died out ... we still meet every second Thursday up in browns bay .. Think I've only missed 5 pub meets in the last 7 years they have been running.

Oh true, never new that, must have missed it or not cool/clicky enough

Why not come down to the one next week in the M325i and show it off, maybe we could get some nice photo's.

Did a whole lot on the beemer this weekend.

Cam-belt

Reset all tappet clearances, runs smooth as a shaved ball sack now

Oil change

Brake fluid flush and bleed

yellowed the headlamps to match the Peugeot

being a responsible BMW owner i only use BMW genuine parts and accessories

bloody glad i did the cambelt as this is what came out

especially considering im taking it for a hoon around taupo in a few weeks

workmate had a bunch of old factory tools for doing the cambelt, rockers clearances etc and even the big 80's service light reset tool thing

and headlamps,

this thing hasnt missed a beat all summer and has been a nice cruiser. Nothing much has been done too it untill now

I installed E90 spring top hats to get some more low at the front as the uneven wheel arch thing was annoying me. Was a bit worried as i have heard they do and dont work. But all was well got a 15mm drop and at $37 each genuine from BMW they are a bargin IMO.

Got rid of the crusty old trailing arm bushes at the back and put nolathane replacements in. Putting the bushes in was a bit of screw around as they were too wide and would not fit between the gap on the subframe mount so had to remove them all and shorten them a bit so they did not spread so much when pushing in the steel sleeve.

I have also read mixed things on the e90 drop hats. Good to see they do make a difference, 15mm is all I need. Putting this mod back on my radar. :)
