I don't think he's got a P1 on order, but I could be wrong.

I like the bit when its sideways and airborne and making angry vacuum cleaner noises at the same time.

I don't think he's got a P1 on order, but I could be wrong.

Was watching TV3 and Colin Giltrap said they had sold two or three in NZ.

I saw that too.

Two sold. Awaiting arrival at a cool $2m each. that's pretty amazing for 'lil old NZ.

I hope I get to see one.

Bit shy on revealing the lap time...

As you probably know, McLaren are battling it out with Porsche for the record, I would say they are playing poker on official times.

Its amazing how fast the new cars are, these times are amazing, go back ten years and 8 min was fast, these days hatch backs are getting close to that.

Ah yes someone had posted this. Good. Was wondering why the hell nobody had posted in. Made me think the forum might be full of hard parkers or something lame.

Lap time? Well, McLaren have said the average speed was 'more than 111mph' suggesting a sub-7 minute lap.

McLaren released a shot of the P1 at the 'ring a month or so ago, with the inscription '6:33' on it.

But yes - no categoric info as to what they have achieved.

New owners of the cars purchased in NZ are being told apparently.

I think it was 6:47 or 6:48 on the rubber the car comes with. And 6:3?? on race tyres (prob semis).

The amount of down force this car produces is insane. So awesome.

I hate to disagree but I don't think the owners are being told this.

The post was from someone working at Porsche over the road from Mclaren.

Somewhere on facebook to do with the recent party/event they had.
