Very nice! Love these in black.

Love the cup holders. Strangely, what pissed me off most when I was looking at M3s is the lack of cup holders :P

Thanks guys.

Next on the list will be:

-deciding what to replace Bridgestone RE050A's with

-slight lowering

-retrofit seat inflation option ?

If it helps, I'm running a set of Nitto Invo's, and won't look elsewhere. Strong grip wet & dry, plus the tread pattern

Free plug for H&R springs too - they give good drop without sacrificing ride quality.

Don't know anything about the seat bolster inflations - may be more cost effective to simply replace the seats? This way, you could look at some nice aftermarket ones (eg Recaro Sportsters - nom nom)

Thanks mate. Good info.

Yeah seat thing is a bit of a pipe dream but the leather can be slippery. I have tried the e90 inflatable seats and they are awesome.

Here they are in the m3

Had inflatable seat bolsters in my old E46 M3. Was done by a company in penrose. I think it was circa $500 and both seats!! From memory..

There is only two choices really if you want to feel your cars ability properly. And really they're worth saving that extra for. Get em from tirerack, com if you want stock thats fresh.

Michelin PSS2 or Pilot Super Sports. Seriously after converting to Michelin after having every other tire, I wont go back. Theyre just better than everything else in every way.

PS reallllly love this car .. would have been worth the wait for no doubt.

Great looking car.

Try some re11s as replacements via tire rack . You'll hardly ever have the traction control light come on again as with ps2's and conti's. Looks like I'll get 40,000kms out of mine including a couple of track days.

Traction control comes on in 1st / 2nd easy with big tread re050a's

Nice mileage on the RE11s.

Only the front shoulders worn. Guessing 20+km on the current set.

^ Works on either. I only use bluetooth not any dock functions. I'm pretty impressed. For a install noob, a total DIY install with mic & steering wheel controls for a couple hundred is great.

Tried this grill today. Not sure about it yet. It's 'shadow/black chrome' but looks quite bronze.

Might lower it next (just on springs)....

Great photos. The OEM 19s look really good on these cars.

Quite like the grille.

It's my daily and I'm already trying to moderate my HP use!

Pretty tame wish list;

  • Lower
  • Air box (for noise mainly)
  • Wheels
  • Sound system upgrade - just to "e87 Professional" level, but they pump! (I have H/K)
  • Some kind of seat upgrade / non leather?
  • Alcantara wheel
  • CSL SMG flash .... maybe....
