Just a small update on my much loved daily driver.

Since lowering it I have put brand new bilsteins all round , new upper and lower arms , and fully rebushed the front end.and brand new tyres .......passes a WOF with clean sheet each time.

Got the glass on the tialgate to open ,

And after waiting and trying to find e34 touring roof racks I thought f#$k it I'm just going to find any roof racks and just weld new brackets on.

So all luck would find it a found a set of BMW roof racks for an e36 on tardme for 50 bucks and all I had to do was fold the bottom over 90° and slid some. Bolts into the roof rails.

Very happ with them and a good length.

Didn't think I would see a set on trade me let alone have a buy now of $70.

Happy new year to me.

So... you made sure you did the buy now, and paid for them, BEFORE posting on the forum... just in case

It's bizarre the things that pop up. I used to have a Suzuki Cappuccino - there's only about 35 in NZ... and one day a strut brace appears... brand new, some fancy Jap racing brand, just down the road from aja540i's house B)

Hell yes clicked buy now and then posted it haha.

Even picked them up an hour later...

I've looked all over the world ...found some in the states for 350nz but he refused to post to nz.

So to find a set less then 5 mins from my house and for perfect amount of cash left in my wallet from new years.........its meant to be.

well done I had to buy a $1750 wagon to get some of those , then resell the wagon after fixing most of the issues for more $$$ :)

so a lot of hassles to get a set of roof racks that I have used once.

oh and get a set of keys made to suit the locks $20
