Im gonna do a write up at some point, but anyone with suede or alcantara. Buy a set of small tooth brush sized wire brushes. That and some plastic brushes.

You use these to clean them and bring the pile back after months of hand grease start to make the fiber stick together and clump and get that shiny look.

Just re-did my suede sparco wheel and it looks new.

Steering wheel looks good! Let me know how the alcantara stands up to bring daily driven.

Would be keen to see a write-up. May bring a BMW performance wheel back with me... Edited by T.J

Got a few more goodies today! Smoked corners and gloss black kidney grills with matching side gills. I must say the fitment is not great at all (from Khoalty) and I will be asking for an exchange or refund based on the quality. Nevertheless I installed them temporarily. I also popped into see George as he installed his Agency Power Exhaust. We took a little video with the cars side by side.

Video link is below. The Agency Power starts first...

More updates - it's been a busy week for the M.

Needless to say I was ecstatic to find my shipment from the states was ready for collection on Monday morning.

George kindly got my new Supersports fitted on the apex wheels by the afternoon and I was itching to leave work so I could fit them.

Also part of the shipment was my CSL bootlid. I got this for a good price so I wasn't expecting it to be perfect. It took a bit of work to get it fitted (thanks to George again) but the end result is pretty good.

Coilovers should be going in Saturday fingers crossed.

Here's how it's looking at the moment.

This is why I can`t get enough of the `46 M3`s. Coming together nicely.

Looking forward to seeing it @ Hellbm for its 3 week visit.

Yeah man I love the track focused look that's coming together!

If I get show rims I'll stay with 18s still. CCWs or Meisters are on the wish list

Coil overs are really going to tie it all together.

What specs are the wheels? (square?)

Love it Alex!!!!

Cheers Tom! I should probably grab those limiters off you before the car goes up to Ray. Will give you a buzz this weekend.

So true! Will be so good to have it a few inches closed to the ground :)

Very cool looking indeed. Good work.

Thanks mate!

Yet another exciting day for the M!!!

My unexpected purchase of a second set of Apex track rims arrived.

My black set specs:

R - 18x10et25 with Michelin Supersport 265/35

My anthracite (track) set:

A few pictures test fitting the semi slicks on the rear.

Not sure about m3 but my e46 330i sedan (the one you saw nick) was heeeeaaaaaps better on the lightweight 18" hamanns than it did on 19s that the car came with.

A world of difference.

I reckon with a good ride height and good suspension, a nice set of lightweight 18s is much better than 19s for performance and ride without much sacrifice in looks

Looking forward to seeing the car when I'm back. Photoshoot ? :)

Definitely mate! I did a cheeky shoot last night with George's E46. Photo's below:

Cheers man! Your front lip is scraping quite a bit now haha.

How much 'better'/softer is the ride with 18"s?

Combined with the BC Coilovers the handling is night and day! Makes a world of difference with light wheels, good tyres and a firm suspension setup.
