dent / paint correction

Recommended Posts

so. some knuckle dragger has opened their door carelessly and given me a whack in a carpark.

whilst I'm sure karma already has his number.

any recommendations / experience as to how I get get this fixed?

It's in the crease line of the passenger door. The rest looks like it will buff out, but there's a dent and the paint's been scraped back.

mobile operations in the auckland area would be preferable. I don't have the time for a respray currently.

If it ends up more than the dent magician can handle then Precision Autowerk would be number one on my list of calls....

Yes. They are not cheap but then again they are factory approved & trained. The deal i had was the exception rather than the rule i think.

no worries at all.

Yes I did use.

it was on the crease line on the door I wasn't holding out much hope TBH.

But I was pleasently surprised with the results.

I could still see it. But i'm a nut case. You never would see it unless you were looking, and had to get your face close to the car and look down the crease.

All in all. Amazing.

Was like $140 bucks if I recall and he did it in my work garage in a few hours.

For that price it's worth the try even if he failed!
