Started work on the body mods. Big thanks to the guys @ Quest Fabrication for the time spent measuring, cutting welding the front gaurds.

Sacrificed new oem M3 gaurds and FLift sedan/touring gaurds to make M3 Touring `Concept` ones.

Looking good Ray. Are you keeping the year drop head lights as apose to the ones pictured above?

Swapping in a complete M3 front includes modified gaurds,M3 bonnet, bumper and lights.

The idea is to replicate the M3 Concept as closely as possible.

Hi Ray. Great work, look forward to seeing the finished job. Ever since I saw pictures of the original concept, I thought it would be a great thing to build if I had the time, money, talent and ability. Seeing the effort that is going into the fabrication of the front guards. I was wondering if you had thought of getting some molds done, and selling replicas. I think there might be a bit of a market for people wanting at least the look of the concept.

You have probably seen this, but if not have a look. Some of the others might find it interesting. Cheers Mark.

Great walkaround vid^.

Guards complete and painted. 6 days work fabricating and painting in total.Big thanks to Quest Fabrication & Graeme Hughes Panel & Paint.

We swapped the M3 front on today (complete from A pillar forward). Starting to really look the part.

Now onto the rear starting with M3 bumper modification then guards.

10/10 Ray and team, you've done it again!

I still can't fathom how foolish BMW was not to make the Touring an M3.

Looks superb. Very RS4 esque with the wheel arches... can't wait to see the rear done too.

Work now begins on the tailend. Lovely plastic joining/moulding by Mark @ Plastic Repairs in Glenfield.

Combination or a M3 bumper and a touring bumper.

Pics of mockup and trial fitment.

Gotta modify the OEM side mirrors and put them on... those replicas you have on are just "no bueno". So far so great. Everything looks really good. I did an E46 sedan conversion to full M3 front... similar to Jeppe, it was fun but very involved. Can't wait to see her finished. No one has done one of these. I wanted to do one a while back but just never found enough time for it. Best of luck, great work.

Work has started on the rear guards with donor cuts from a silver M3.

Lots of `behind the scene` work involved with the double skin and reinforcing.
