Um so you're going to use someone else's tyres / wheels to get a WOF then put your old ones back on that failed?

Lol. Agreed on above.. tyre tread regulations are in place for a reason. Taillights blacked out also very illegal (and dangerous)

If youre going to get new tyres soon i suppose its 'okay' depending how bad ypur current ones are but get some normal taillights plz

my tryes and rims are legitely brand new i only drove for 2kilometres as soon as i got my car done and to make it worse i got pink stickerd for adjustables and and stretched tyres that wernt falken and not certed. so i just wanted to borrow someones wheels that have good tread just to take to vtnz as i really dont want to buy new rims as i already spent over $2.5k on new rims and tyres.

illegal stretched tyres are as bad as running bald tyres. you never know what road imperfection may cause your tyre to slip off the mag and critically injure yourself or anyone around you. do everyone on the road a favour and get the tyres off the mags and sell them to a person who actually can fit them legitimately on their mags and buy some proper fitting tyres.

Im not here to fuss on issues as i already have enough on my plate to deal with. All i simply asked for was if anyone had spare wheels and tail lights so i can sort my wof out and save money to buy a set of falkens. Never mind tho. Thanks for all the help.

This ^ plus thats alot of effort to go to when the car will still be ripe for a pink sticker again.

The price you have to pay to be "cool" I guess.

Save money, get the falkens, get a wof? Would be less mucking around?

I fixed that up for ya

Im not here to fuss on issues as i already have enough on my plate to deal with. All i simply asked for was if anyone had spare wheels and tail lights to encourage me to continue in my efforts to ignore public safety and flout the law while looking cool in shop windows. Never mind tho, I appreciate you guys trying to talk sense to me. Thanks for all the help, I should've gone JDM.

I'm guessing those BMW suspension engineers in Munich are kicking themselves for not having gotten 'stretched Falkens' TUV approved. B)
