looks like a very good candidate for a project, M52 swap, nicer wheels etc, and not feel bad about bastardising a 325i

Price could do with a bit of gravity though, thats more than I paid for mine in nicer condition

Looks like a good base, but damn thats a lot of money. Id rather start with the one nick linked. Better colour too.

In the black one, whats the card attached to the keys slotted in the dash? Some sort of immobiliser?

yes, very common in UK cars of this age, i suspect some of the dealers offered them. its like a little credit card type thing for immobilising, will only start if you have that. I guess it got replaced when BMWs started having EWS.

I used to see this around when I lived in Nelson. Be prepared to steam clean the whole interior if you buy it because she was always smoking like a chimney when I saw her driving.
