To debadge or not?

Recommended Posts

Thinking of debadging my 550i to give it that Euro/clean/sleeper look. Interested to hear what the opinions are in NZ regarding this. Thoughts and suggestions welcome.

So yes, debadging a 550 is cool, debadging a 523 is not.

Quote of the day! I love it!

Im all for debadging high end models. Will be a nice sleeper.
I love that about BMWs, they might all look pretty similar (the series, I mean) but what's under the hood is very different!

Next question, Naf or not? M Sport colours on front grilles? Already matte blacked but me and missus have-agreed on blue/purple/red lines. Defo not looking to pretend its an M5 at all.

Personal preference. Do what you like, not what we like.

If it's a factory M-sport car, go for your life. If it's not, put an M5 badge on at the same time.

So no one debadges 530i but either side yes! Love it! Thanks for feedback, Wellingtonians beware the Space Grey bebadged monster!

I'm going to debadge my 530i :P

With all that power I suggest a Quattro badge to supplement your handling. It gets a bit wet and windy in Wellington.
