dkonsta1 109 Report post Posted January 12, 2015 Dear all, First I wish you all the best for the new year. I am doing some investigation for the factory radio tuner (receiver) type C23 BM Oceania. Anybody knows if the following are possible? -RDS function? -ID tag function for the CD or MP3 ? -AUX-in function? Also what could be a recommended upgrade (plug and play) I am aware of other models like C24, C43, BM54, etc... but I cannot find differences. This unit works currently with a 16:9 ZB bordmonitor and it is installed in a Singapore import year 2001 car. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Dogballs 102 Report post Posted January 15, 2015 The C23 has RDS It has no aux in, no mp3 ID tag function. The best straight plug and play "upgrade" option is a BM24 - best audio quality, dual tuner, but still no aux in or MP3 text etc If you want aux in and MP3 text you will need a late model BM54 (dual tuner) or BM53 (single tuner) this will require an adaptor for the power/speaker etc plug and upgrade the antenna amp to the later fm diversity type (single wire) 1 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
