I hate to ask but... value of a e36?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys so i havent been doing much bmw stuff for a while and am feeling out of touch with the market

ive been offered a 323i which i would probably just tidy up and sell.

just looking for an idea of value.

1997 323i coupe.

full msport body kit and interior. no rips or wear.

full body professional repaint in the original hellrot red.

16" ac schnitzer type 1.

cooling system rebuilt and converted to electric fan.
170kms

very tidy only downside is open diff and auto box.

i was thinking a value of about $4500.

or if i put in a manual box and lsd about $6000.

would this be on the money or is the car just abit old to get those sort of prices

thanks. and sorry for being that guy who starts that thread AGAIN.

Thats E46 prices these days.

Pretty much impossible to make a dollar that way on any E36 these days, the tourings are holding on though

a 328i or 325i would be worth trying your luck but don't think so on a 323i

if you are getting it for less than 1k worth considering depending what margin you want to make etc

much better to part out imho, demand for bits quite high at the moment, they are at that age

a couple of years ago i got $6500 for my manual converted msport 323i with a touch over 80,000km on the clock. The 323s arent very desirable, especially in auto.

Was mint inside and out on 18" CSL reps.

Pretty much agree with all above, you ain't gonna to make anything out of a 323...its considered the ugly duckling of the e36s
