Had a Tesla Model S for the weekend. Went on a road trip up to a massive cars and coffee meet (2000-2500 cars).

Tesla is amazing. Loved every bit of it. From the Auto Drive feature to the always there torque. Didn't miss an exhaust note the entire drive.

200+ miles to a charge. Charges for free in about 45mins to an hour at well placed stations.

We did about 470miles and 80% of that it drove itself. I just sat there looking around. Was strange.

Would happily own one as my daily driver. And the petrol burner for the track only.

It's a heavy car. But would easily complete a standard 8-10 lap race.

Read 200miles range. And that was at 70mph with no brake regeneration.

I don't have a spare 100k to turn one into a race car. Stick to the E34.

No, it won't run at WOT for that long at all. If the batteries don't drain they'll go into thermo shutdown. Fine for casual track days, nothing more really.

To be doing more than 100km on an average trackday you would be doing well.

but would be trailer there and trailer home i will agree.

I gave it a good 20 min thrash. No issues. Used about 15%.

And the sun decided to shine!

With The Stones on the stereo, and not much traffic on the roads.

Is choice bro!!

Having a gym set up in the shed (squat rack, bench, ab bench) so a quick 15min workout between getting home and dinner is not only possible, it's easy.

I have some BMW pumas haha. Drift cats though not running shoes.

The e30 barely ever gets driven but I do need to take it to a meet sometime. Tossing up whether to take that or the compact to Eurohaus in Taupo in 2 weeks.
