Haitoman 110 Report post Posted April 18, 2015 I ordered a reversing camera off Ebay for my e46 M3 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/99-11-BMW-3-Series-E46-E90-E91-E92-CCD-PAL-Car-Backup-Rear-View-Reverse-Camera-/331042845207?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_15&hash=item4d13b0f217 I knew that it wouldn't fit my convertible but took the risk that I could make it fit. When it arrived it was a simple matter of unscrewing the rear housing and using body tape to mount it in the number plate light hole. I used this e46 AV cable off Ebay http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/AV-Video-Audio-In-Out-Cable-BMW-E38-E46-E39-X5-X3-Z4-Z3-/350909530580?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_15&hash=item51b3d681d4 I got the 12V relay for switching the earth from Jaycar. The hardest part was feeding the wires through the flexible tube from the boot lid. It was a fiddly job but I made sure it was all done neatly - it took about 7 hours all up but was pleasantly surprised when it all worked.
