Today I tried some "Dragons Breath" Wheel Cleaner

Recommended Posts

I had seen videos about this product online and it looked to work well, so I ordered some. (From United Car Care).

All I did is spray on, wait 10 mins, hose off, did all of my 3 cars at the same time.

My cars have not been cleaned in months, (never have time) the wheels were all rather dirty..

Obviously it hasn't done a perfect job using this method, but it still made quite a difference.

A small pressure washer (waterblaster) is the way to go. No chemicals and is the same cost as a few cans of wheel cleaner poo.

Great stuff, ordered some myself earlier this week, looking forward to retiring the bloody fine brush I've been using to get in there

a waterblaster will never get the particles that are imbedded out of the paint, whilst dragonsbreath will actually dissolve them. Ive used my waterblaster heaps when cleaning wheels but its never been enough on its own.

Totally, water blaster is a start and I use it every week, always use a mitt and brush though as it's never enough, for me anyway :)

Then re blast to finish

This would be good for weaves. Bloody hate cleaning weaves in all the small gaps.

Looks impressive. Is it aggressive to rubber?

I used some good car wash (no salt) stuff, and an old kitchen sponge/scourer. Loads of elbow grease (plenty in the cupboard, apparently.)

Far from perfect but a lot better.

Would've been much easier with a spray, leave, and rinse solution!

Can vouch for this stuff, wish i found it years ago. Beats simple green and degreaser

degreaser in a can works pretty well

Would not recommend... You don't wash your cars paintwork with diesel do you?

Nice. I use the Mothers stuff, works well but doesn't look as cool. Its cheap though, a big bottle like this lasts me a year, and I use it once a week

I actually thought it was a type of chilly, now this stuff will clean other things out. Tried it once, was "taking the piss" hot. My tongue was sweating.

^ I used to buy that stuff, 1 drop was enough to spice a meal very hot, 2 drops and your f*cked.
