E30 Brake Master Cylinder Options?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

So my brake master cylinder in my E30 has pretty well shat itself, and it seems like getting a new replacement E30 unit is nigh on impossible from most of my usual parts outlets. Does anyone know of anywhere you can source a decent one from or ideally where I can source a decent E32 750 unit from to help get a bit better pedal feel in the old girl??

If anyone can help locate a decent one of either it would be much appreciated!!

Cheers

Mike

If you go 750 route you'll need to fab up a new line to the abs pump as the e30 one doesn't line up with the 750 booster port.

Use p/n 34326755585 and bend it to suit.

BNT still carry both E30 and E32 types.

Thanks guys,

Think I may just go for a standard E30 MC again, saves the mucking about with the brake lines for a daily driver.

Andy, I gave my local BNT a call and they didn't have a listing for E30 facelift models unfortunately, they could get in the E32 but was fairly pricey.

I picked an e32 one up ages ago can't remember who it was from either Brent or Martyn. Im sure one of them will have one otherwise try autostop, or sterling brake n clutch, in my exp bnt are a little pricey.

Sorry to thread jack, but with the E32 booster, is there any problems running it if you don't have abs?
