the unofficial Bimmersport Woollarding thread

Recommended Posts

Woollarding. It's a thing. Named after William Woollard, former Top Gear Presenter, who was renowned for adopting a specific pose while doing his pieces to camera:

  • bonnet up
  • one foot up on bumper
  • discuss engine or performance.

so, get yer mates (or yer tripod, Nigel), and produce your Unofficial Bimmersport Woollarding Image, and post it to this thread.

Linkage:

It should be noted that Swiss Toni is not strictly Woollarding, though he does deserve an honourable mention.

It should also be noted that Grace Jones did not have Woollarding in mind when she sang Pull Up To The Bumper.

Not sure what the discussion point is, but the gentleman in question is definitely thoughtful.

First person to put their foot on my bumper gets a punch in the face and a bonnet dropped on their head.

PS - dude with the Prado: Trying as hard as he can to get it to sink. Best place for a whale - bottom of the sea.

Bonnet up, one paw on the bumper, pointing out the shortcomings in my engineering performance...
