Yep true - not cheap after the required fixing is done :)

Reminds me of a joke about a Irishman who wrote a complaint to a tampon company that even after using their product he still couldn't ^^^^^^^

Nice 7 but a bit pricey.

Looks to have body kit and wheels - can't see if badge is on steering wheel - the pictures are very crap. Breakers E38 740i M-Sport doesn't have the rear M badge and doesn't have Motorsport sill badging either. So I think it probably is a M-Sport...

piss all, mainly the interior trim, seat bolstering, wheels, dark woodgrain, dark headlining, suspension, steering wheel, shadowline. apparently theyre meant to have a different final drive too, but this one doesnt have it listed in the datacard.

So 'tis M-Sport :)

Dunno what 175kw is like in an e38....

well, 32kW & 65-m more than an equivalent 728i, which can still be plenty of fun. #8 )

it's probably worth $4k of anyone's money.

I'm seriously considering selling my turbo brick.

Nice drive, personally I'd hang out for a 740, but then I've got 2 already LOL

Certainly Mspec and my 740 Mspec definitely drives better then the standard. Not quite the same agility as the E39 was but damn fine all the same and more then enough for myself.

Yes I reckon an E38 740i M-Sport would be mighty tempting!

I wish. Just thought I'd throw it out there as the ultimate M sport E38.

I was going to track down the owner and see if he'd consider selling but never got around to it.

Em, sounds like DME replacement needed.

Probably priced about right for mileage if nothing to major wrong, would need full diagnose check

Anyones guess whats wrong with it, but its damn cheap now. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-1101052781.htm

Buy it use for parts. Would be awesome to transplant all the flash bits into a standard 740i

I've been trying to view it (and then buy it), but the guy is pretty busy and hard to get hold of.
