Angel Eyes, 2002 E39. Conversion.

Would like to convert my standard angel eyes to white rather than the standard yellow light.

BMW gave me the heads up that some after market units sometimes have a different resistance which sets off the 'headlight alert'.

Has anyone found an alternative brand that works?

Even if they have no errors, they may "strobe" when the cold checks are done, which can make some people think you are flashing your lights at them (even though it's only the angel eyes. Most shouldn't cause the bulb out error, if they say error-free, but probably/possibly do still strobe.

SOmetimes you can get models that don't strobe, (I think the MTEC $$$ ones are OK, but not positive), or change to an LCM4 and then recode it to turn off cold checks (which is what I did - then you can buy cheap LEDS as often as you need to )
