E46 M3 Front Rotors

Recommended Posts

Am on the hunt for some **used** front rotors.

Does any one have anything sitting around or know of a pair?

Cheers

Marcus

What do you need them for? I have a set that will enable a brake set up, but not usable.

Finding some to test fit on e36 with e46 330 calipers. They have same the diameter but have different thicknesses.

You will need different spindles too.

the 330 spindles allow you to use the 325mm disc, and the m3 spindles allow you to use the 315mm disc.

To fit the m3 rotors on the 330 calipers you'll need to grind some metal out of the caliper carrier so they fit without hitting the caliper - we  did exactly this on my old e36.

M3 rotors are 315 x 28mm. 330 are 325 x28. Thickness no probs at all, diameter will be unless you space them out. Just get on line and buy the brake motive M3 rotors on ebay. I have flogged them on the track and they are very good and very cheeeeep.

E36 M3 are 315x28 (handed L/R with curved vanes, 2pc w/floating hats if you go Euro)

E46 330 are 325x25 (plain venting, not directional)

E46 M3 are 328x28 (handed L/R with curved vanes, 2pc w/floating hats if you go Euro)

Want to get f/rotors with floating hats. Hoping it will be significant enough to eliminate r/bias if paired w/ 330 r/calipers.
