Castrol Edge Professional Oil help needed

Hi all, on last service my local BMW mechanic in Botany has used Castrol Edge Professional OE-X 5W-30 i have no problem with that, the problem is if i need a top up between services this product is not available to the public (that i can find) every time i need a top up it cost me around $60.00 having to take time of work plus the cost of the oil, so can anyone please help is there an equivalent to Castrol Edge Pro OE-X or is it for sale somewhere in Auckland ?? You should be able to buy it from BMW. Not cheaply though.

change completely to a generic 5w-30 oil. castrol edge, penrite, valvoline (5w-40) etc. you wont be able to tell the difference

Next time you have a service with them ask them to give you an extra litre for topups?

Excellent thanks for the help, i purchased 1ltr of 5W-30 edge titanium today so that should keep her happy till next service  Thanks again
