BMTHUG 941 Report post Posted September 23, 2016 So I recently acquired this dereged 1993 NZ new 540i for a little over a grand and drove it up from Rotorua. I will probably be tidying it up and daily driving it. Good things: Clean interior No rust Fairly straight body Rebuilt engine Beautiful transmission NOT SO GOOD THINGS Needs new suspension (cut springs) Needs new suspension bushes for compliance Needs new brakes all round Needs new air intake boot Viscous fan missing Sunroof switch broken.
