Messaging notifications

Recommended Posts

Until very recently I received a notification that I had received a message via the forum from another member. That's not happened for the last couple of days.

Looking at the settings it looks as thought these notifications have been disabled by the administrator. (Or moderator - I don't recall which.)

Not complaining - just checking it's deliberate? :)

I noticed the same, i wondered if it was related to me enabling desktop notifications.

Notifications seem to have returned.

Bizarrely, I'm a mod on another forum running the same software, and they had the same thing happen, at about the same time. Email notifications just... Stopped.

Appears to be fixed - I received an email notification of a PM this morning.

I'm still having some trouble.

For some reason enabling notifications in the notification list when a member replies to a post I've made is "Disabled by the Administrator", and is forced to be an email. I'm happy to receive the email as well, but would be great to be able to get all notifications in the notification list.

I think the PM notifications have decided to take another break. They were working (for me) earlier today (28th May), but have seem to have stopped this evening.
