still std 6500rpm rev limit

yes had ecu reflashed putting out 166rwkw with 4.5ibs of boost , guess around 270hp at the flywheel ??

car weighs about 1100kg  so very quick ,

lapping around 1:19.5 at puke

he's looking at fitting a smaller pulley on the charger to up the boost a bit at some stage .

So the supercharger only added 20kw between the two motors?

And both engines are m54b30?

It's a older ess kit I used to have on my e36 328i originally came from a e39 528i uses a powerdyne bd11 unit runs about 4.5ibs at the moment there are upgrade pulleys for these which I think he will do at some stage soon

very simple charger just belt drive inside , no intercooler , no oil etc

just has 4 bearings inside

small update , got sick of looking at the front of this thing ,

so picked up some facelift sedan frontal parts in silver

stripped the front off ,

gotta replace all he guard liners and brake ducts etc

need to modify the guards to line up all the side molding lines etc  ,

graft the front/top section of the sedan guard to the lower back half of the compact guard to make it all line up etc .

guards are being worked on today by my local panel beater guy :)

Thats a nice bit of fabrication on that guard.

Did the ti not come out with a guard to match the msport bumper etc?

only one guard option for the ti ,

2 bumper options ,

one std and one msport

both pretty ugly

the way the bumper clips to the guards is like all the newer cars e87 e90 etc

bumper comes up higher meets at the point of the indicator lights

where as the e46 sedan and coupe bumpers sit below the guards and indicators etc

Can't wait to see the finished product. As already mentioned that's some nice panel work

You are correct - the other two bumpers are hideous.

Great improvement to the looks of the car - just dont crash it as there are no spares :P
