I'm a couple of weeks away - and the new garage is pretty snug... but then...

This will be the perfect accompaniment for the snug garage then

Do we all pitch in make it a bimmersport club car/loan car, take it to track days.

"Bimmer Sport Forum Members In a Reasonably Priced E39 Motorsport."

Have a lap board and all like Top Gear, old top gear; we shan't speak of that Chris Evans/Joey from friends monstrosity... should have got Leno.

Hahah I love this idea and fully support it.

Thanks for all the support guys, feels like we're up to page 3 in this thread of "I can't believe this hasn't sold yet"!

I was quoted $800-odd for a local, mobile guy who would come to me and do it on my driveway

I got it. It's now in Wellington ? The drive down was worth the purchase price alone. Now......let's see how long the chain guides last ? Also anyone selling a set of style 65 or 66 rims?

Holla,

I see what you're doing... cornering the market in extremely tidy & desireable silver BMW sedans? B)

Looking forward to seeing this one.

Awesome! I've been thinking that BimmerSport & BMWCC Welly have been lacking nice E39s to keep @HardBall66's company.

Very pleased for you and look forward to seeing it real soon. Do agree on the MSport 17 wheels. V8 goodness.

Thought had crossed my mind to buy this 'just because' but have no driveway space left and not sure how much renting at @Barryn's costs :)

Yeah...kinda hard to justify two sedans.....but the 540i will tow the boat ?.....once I get a tow bar for it.....

was there photos of the voyage trip?

Unfortunately / fortunately it was more of a sprint home as I had to work the next day at 7AM. I left Glenfield around 8:30PM and got home to Wellington about 3:30AM @325_driver
