Pics? :)

When she arrives today. Its only a 740i as I haven't managed to find any 750s, but a V8 will still sound cool.

Okay so over just got back from almost getting the Car, but the deal fell through so I still on the lookout for an E38.

730 - 750s considered. Must be drivable please ?

Whats your price range?

Depends on the condition of the car. $1k to $3k maybe $4k.

There are plenty of body work mods planned, so if the car is in too gooda condition I may not take it.

I'm just after something that has a decent drive system with no issues

no no no, this won't do.  you need to talk to the man who cornered the market in e38's, and, most particularly, 750's.  Talk to Don @kulgan and he'll tell you the price, if he deems it appropriate for you to make an e38 aquisition.  B)

I just may have to. I'm heading on honeymoon tomorrow for 2 weeks and then will be back and start looking for that 750i and hit up @kulgan for some advise.

Been a while since I signed in. Looks like lots happening and I'll be very interested to see where you'll go with this. Given that I've liked all your other projects I'll be watching this one with interest. :-)

You'll have some trouble finding a 750i as there were only 113 made in rhd and of them only 3 made it into NZ. But there should be a few 750il's floating around if you don't mind a few extra inches in the back door. Other than that there a a lot of 740i's that come up for sale and you shouldn't feel bad about modding one of them. I've wanted to something similar to this to one for a while now.
