customs brokers

I have a load of parts coming in from Prague and DHL Global Forwarding want to know if I have a nominated customs broker. Is this important. Can anyone help.

I've used Jenners before, they're out near the airport in Auckland. They seemed good but in terms of how often I bring stuff in, I prob don't know what good looks like!

Its arriving 9th June so have a couple weeks up my sleeve . I do like the way they give you a heads up.

I think that if you don't nominate a broker, DHL will perform the role and charge you retail for the pleasure.  Engaging and then nominating your own gives you a chance to shop around for service/price.
