Recommended Posts

Hey all you groovy e60 owners!

I have an excellent condition Owners Handbook for First Gen e60 525i 530i 545i for sale.  Buying one new from the dealer will sting you $128 ouch!

Why not buy mine instead.  You can put your savings  toward some fine car care products from @Barryn

A mere snip at $50 including GST and post to anywhere in NZ.

I should mention, it's in English too!

"You know it makes sense".

P/N 01-41-0-158-269 UE (US English, I think).  I'm not sure if it's got the Motorport Options in the manual, it's out in the car at the moment.

From memory it has all the procedures for changing tyres, fluids, how to work the iDrive, navigation, etc etc.  Standard owners handbook stuff.

easiest $50 ever made award goes to....

Well, it may have cost over 10K buying the E60 to get the manual to make that $50... as the saying goes, the easiest way to make a small fortune is to start off with a large one.

Hey, you know there's a difference between income and profit, right? $50 is pretty small when you account for GST and freight.

Oh wow - I just caught myself explaining reasonable dealer margins.  (They just told me the pages were gold plated ?)

Or errr as you say, just buy an e60? ?

Nahhh, I'm not serious.  I've paid less than a used Commodore for an autobahnstorming panzerwagen that has an appetite for sympathetic maintenance.  I feel this is one of the best value cars I've owned, and I've owned 3 Nissans long-term!  Yes it's three times the cost - used - of a used Nissan Maxima... yet it offers three times the driving experience, performance, safety, fun... probably second to a maxima in maintenance costs only.

I'm McLovin it.

But yes, it's true.... like Blondini, I'm selling non-essential bits to pay for maintenance.  Where will it end? ?
