This is what you want if you are serious about road driving those mud grip type tyres are a 60/40 or 70/30 in todays money and are hideous on the road,  see lots of stupid utes with them that only go between the office , home and the local bar to show off - 205/80/16  thats pretty close to your size of 750

you could get some advice from your tyre professional as well.

Didn't know there were any left in the country, tyreshops  all seem to employ muppets these days.

there are a few in Wellington; my choice of the Bridgestone franchise in Torrens Terrace in Wellington is very good.    I deal with the owner, he's been in the trade for many years, knows his onions, and is very good to do business with too.

I've decided to go for a more onroad oriented tyre, and in 7.50 as the 5" rim means I can't get the height any other way.

I was thinking these were cheap enough for what they were?

Missed this the first time round, "road gripper' is a bit of a mis-nomer, might have been a road tyre when the state highways were all gravel but today this rates as a 60/40 at best even Dunlop say it suits a 50/50 on road off road use.

Earplugs for the trip -
