This seems cheap, though the outside looks mint and the inside is a sh*t show.  Hasn't even been run in and he's got it on the market for half what he alleges it cost him to build.

Manual converted pfl coupe with a body kit. Think he's milking the e30 tax a little hard myself.

I like how it looks.

$15k? Taking the piss.

This was for sale for around the $10k mark, which is reasonable. The mark up is insane...

Where in the add is it stated that it's not run in?

I don't think you could not build it for 15 so his price is fair. But it would be nice to at least have carpet.

The listing text has been changed, originally it read, or at least inferred that the rebuild happened at the same time as the cam belt, end of last month.

It is confusing as it also says that all gaskets.we're recently.changed.

Hmmmm something fishy there

So the rebuild is a bit sh*t, they know it and they’re trying to fob on some sucker.

Things are only worth what someone is prepared to pay for them... whether it's an E30, E36 or an F80..

I think he is underselling the work that has been done on the engine, but that said if you spend $30k on an engine the value of the car doesn't go up by $30k (obviously). If someone is looking for an e30 track car or dedicated race car then this would be a good place to start, cage it, add a CAI and off you go. Possibly a bit too clean for a race car, but you can't have everything.

Hard to be sure as I can't find any cache's of the original text, but I'm pretty sure there was mention of a recent rebuild...  by a garage in Auckland that rung a bell...  Buyer Beware.

Yeah, it definately referred to an engine re-build at Bavarian Motors a couple of years back, which now seems to have gone from the text. Maybe didn't have the invoices / info to back it up?
