Mint e39 brakes and suspension at Zebra

Recommended Posts

Was at Zebra Onehunga today and there was a e39 523i with brand spanking new rotors, pads, springs and monroe shocks.

Factory manual too.

Looks like he had just got all new stuff done before someone crashed into him, so would be a steal for someone.

Here are the part numbers on realoem;

Pitty about the Monroe shocks - they are rubbish

True, but almost brand spanking new, so a good cheap replacement/repair for someone on a budget.

The new springs were red, but I didn't see what brand.

Suspension was gone yesterday.

I have the manual conversion and front discs and pads

I'm keeping the box for the e21 but the pedal box with slave and clutch lines drive shaft and maybe the gear leaver/linkage are up for sale.

I think the owner did not bed in the pads and discs, went for a spirited drive with new suspension. Tried to stop but couldn't.

Was a well.looked after car.
