My unicorn spec tow wagon

8 posts in this topic

So some of you probably saw this rather rare manual X5 pop up on TM for approximately 20 seconds this week. I saw it and well... had to buy it straight away.

Flew up to Auckland Saturday morning and drove it back to Hastings the very long way.

It's fairly tidy. Is a sport package model too with decent history.

It does have an aftermarket head unit which I shall be asking members on options to improve that

What a stunning machine with the manual!

Nice unicorn- I have one in Kalahari beige - full sportpac on the same 19's also NZ new with the 3 pedals  ironically it came out of Hawkes bays , was on trademe for about an hour before I bought it , flew to Wellington to pick it up and drive it home.

Interesting Carjam lists both as 6 speed auto

My boss has one in the same colour as yours, but not sportpac, with three pedals. Done huge km and has been a great beast (tows a three axle trailer up and down both islands.

Far better than an auto one. Very economical too, averaged 7.3/100 on the way home
