E90/E91 Stereo Upgrade Coding?

I have a E91 2005 that came with the older stereo and have purchased this newer one to get USB etc functions.

Plugged it in and get no sound.

Google shows that its not that straight forward but not 100% clear what needs to be done.

 

Any one able to shine some light in plain english or help with the retrofit?
