330ti

Recommended Posts

I've often thought about a 325ti as a cheap daily runner... one with a additional 500cc would be slightly less cheap to run but more smiley to drive...

Shame about the "executive" interior... but easy enough to improve:

If it were manual I'd be up there tomorrow. Nice car. Wonder if he welded the oil pump spocket.

Did that red manual 325ti that was on a week or so ago sell?

Pretty sure a member down here in Wellington purchased it

yeah Cory, as it's a runner and has the M54B30 in it, should be plenty of car for $3k or less.  Only thing will be when you're insuring:  "has the car been modified?"  errr, yes, it's had its engine replaced.

One wonders if there's more to be done; bigger front brakes?  thicker ARB's at front and rear?  I'd guess that as it's a 325Ti it should already have most of the fruit you'd need to put on, for a conversion.  Hopefully Allan TIM325i will drop in on this thread and share his expertise.

Could be a really fun package.

PS - sticker-bomb or manga comic the trim.  It'd be something different.

EDIT:  Here's a bike I saw this morning that had been tastefully Hulk-bombed.

this thing would be absolutely awesome, especially if one did a normal 3 series front end conversion like brent's track car.

Not for me Richard - at least not whilst I've got the E91.  But one never knows what could be around the corner (or perhaps the corner after that).

Just make sure you pick a good line between them, and think of your exits not just the apex ;)

And sure enough - a couple of corners later:
