HELP -ADVICE RE 36

Recommended Posts

Hi all

Not sure if this is right place to post..

But how much rust is too much rust ?

Just seen a seaside e36 and it looks as though there is a fair bit of orange rust behind diff (between diff and driveshaft side) also in pillar by windscreen.

I will take some photos when I next go for a view.

Cheers

if its a sedan, no E36 is worth bothering with yet. coupe wagon cabby then mayyybbbeee worth picking up. would have to be well specced and have all the goodies etc.

IMO (non M3) E36 are so plentiful these days, and worth almost nothing, that i wouldnt even bother having a second look at one that had rust. Hell, i wouldnt even look twice at one with bad paint these days, and just move onto the next one.

I guess it depends on what you want the car for too. If its a race car, and dirt cheap, might still be good.
