E30: Power antenna / B pillar interior trim / e30 or E36 nz radio

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

As above I am after the following parts for my e30:

  • Factory power antenna
  • Interior right hand sand B pillar trim for 4 door (where the seat belt is) mine has de-laminated.
  • Factory radio from e30 or e36 with nz frequencies, so must be nz new
  • Fuel pump connector holder thing see photo, is there a common term for this thing which holds the two connectors? or is it a bmw part? mine is broken and the connectors keep coming loose

Updated to add fuel pump connector

power antenna are a hard find these days bud, just buy new OE ones from Pelican Parts or similar. Radios are pretty hard to come by too, most were ripped out and binned in the 2000s. Have a look at this one which looks good and has blue tooth etc model number Continental TR7412UB-OR https://www.continental-automotive.com/en-gl/Trucks-Buses/Interior-Cabin/Infotainment/Radios/FM-AM-Radio-with-USB-Bluetooth

... I’ll scrape out a link I had saved; it’s a URO knockoff of the Hirschmann AUTA 2050 though with lots of bezels/grommets.  They run about USD50.  Although URO aren’t the best quality aftermarket parts, how badly can they mess up copying a quality product like the Hirschmann?

Mercedes also ran the Hirschman brand power antennas so could be a source of parts. The earlier metal body ones from e21s and other BMWs late 70s early 80s should also fit the e30.

Otherwise  look for universal ones such as below.

I have a clarion radio currently with red lighting, want to find an e36 style factory deck with nz frequencies to play with.

Will check mercs for power antennas at to scrap yard
