M button

Recommended Posts

So, my 2010 (May 2010 build) E92 M3 Competition Pack (yes it says so in the build specs) doesn’t have an M button on the steering wheel.  I was under the impression that all E92 M3’s had this feature.  I was told by the seller of the car that the Competition Pack does not have this.  I am not particularly concerned as there are far too many ways to configure the setup of this car anyway.  Just curious as to what the go is.  Any thoughts Ragtop?  Or anybody else for that matter.  Cheers

?. All good.  As I say it’s not a big issue for me but was a little surprised to discover it does not have one.  The car is a weapon by the way, just in case you were wondering.

Nice car Shuey. We can retrofit the S2MDA (M Drive) option for you if you want it. Have it on my 2011 M3 well worth it.

I had to look up "M Drive" but I was very impressed!

That would be awesome! ?

Yep, I know what it is, just hadn't heard it referred to as M Drive before.

Nevertheless, marine and space propulsion sounded like a good upgrade to me!

Shuey, list of features for competition pack on your car is..

19" M Light Alloy Wheels Y-Spoke Style 359 (or alternatives)

EDC with new sport mode

DSC with special setup for drive dynamics optimisation.

The M button(s) are under the 2MD option that Ray has listed above.
