trans Replacing Transmission with 2nd hand.

My 2006 320i E90 Transmission has died and thinking a 2nd hand one is an option at this point. Was hoping to get one from later model car same transmission. Anyone else replaced Transmission.

Get same model. Not a difficult job to swap like for like.
