So many of the UK comparison vids use the CSL. Which is obviously cool, but I wished they used the standard car for a more real world comparison. (It's worth more than an F80!)

Why do I want an e36 M3 all of a sudden? ?

It's also not really for sale anymore unless someone wants to pay the full asking price.

The E36 video made my winkie tingle. And then I went out and revved mine to 7k and all was right in the world.

Believe me, you don't want to daily a CSL.

It eschews comfort in the interests of performance. It's a track car that works on the street, not a street car that works on the track (i.e. the opposite of a regular M3/4).

One of my favourite BMW's of all time but as a daily? Not unless your daily commute is an awesome B road route and your partner drives the Swift to do the shopping. ?

Don't think the other half would be seen dead in a Swift.  Normally takes the M5 damn it.

Sure but 'can't be that bad' is different from 'good' and there are better cars for a daily in this thread. I never intended to imply that nobody would daily a CSL (my mate did for a while, b roads roads mainly) but I do know that most wouldn't want to.
