That's lovely, and one of my favourite liveries (I used to smoke B&H at around the same time).

Not sure about those rear guards though... very difficult to see from the photos but they don't look as puffed as regular M3 guards (whereas the fronts look fine). I realise it's a rep kit but I'd want a better shot of those.

In my mind, that price doesn't seem terrible either... but I'm not a very good assessor of race shells.

And the Tards / experts have arrived in the Questions section.

ok, it’s not perfect, but it’s cool if that’s your bag and you can always negotiate on price, but some people... jeez.

I think the questions are fair - I don't see anyone claiming to be an expert. People are just trying to work out why the 17k asking price. If you're not a 'fan' then essentially it's a dereged shell with a body kit, paint and cage. If it were a Nissan or something it'd be 5k. Look at what people are asking for turn key E30 race cars.

It's a niche item, and I agree Jon, it'll be really cool when it's finished.  It could do with the rear screen treatment and M3 bootlid, for balance.

For the nay-sayers, if you can find a good straight 2 door slick-top coupe, and build it to this standard of panel/paint and decals for $10-11k or less, you're laughing.

Me, I'd be happy with the turn-key racer; IMHO in most cases a cage to modern standards would surely be safer?  And besides, with my lack of experience, turning up at the track with a realy flash car that looked like a famous M3 would draw attention I just don't need ?.

Something definatley doesn't look right in the rear end.  The way that bumper fits.  And the huge arches around the rear wheel.

Otherwise it looks nicely done.  Get yourself some E46 M3 running gear.  And you will have a quick car.  Since it's a rep I wouldn't bother with an S14.

I have seen this in the flesh and it is immaculate and to spec. But it is a replica for sure
