Damage to the passengers side outrigger from a pot hole

nothing major, an easy fix.

We we are currently toying with the idea of keeping it together, repairing it, putting it back on the road and turning it Into a targa car

Would you consider selling the shifter boot and center arm rest separate to the rest of the interior?

Was mostly keen on the boot tbh, have a lead on one, makes sense for you to keep it with the gearbox though...

What brand is the radiator?

I dont know why more aftermarket manufacturers dont combine the overflow bottle in the radiator on e36's.

Because, of the 3 (6 cylinder) radiator/expansion tank designs on the e36, the integrated one is by far the worst and aftermarket manufacturers recognised that from the outset.

Ah, that explains it then.

What was the main issue with the integrated design?

Interested in:

  • A, B, C pillar trims
  • Fog lights (if not cracked or have burned wires)
  • Digital climate console

Is any of that still available?

This is more deduction based on the available evidence rather than cold, hard fact but:

  • Remote expansion tank = self bleeding and durable
  • Separate but not remote expansion tank = durable but not self bleeding
  • Integrated expansion tank = neither self bleeding nor durable

The integrated design relies on the integrity of the plastic radiator end-tanks which aren't particularly reliable.

Interested in the M3 suspension, I'm pretty sure it should fit the touring, right?

Still available?
