The Back to the Future one is absolutely epic (if you are into that stuff) flux capacitor, time / date settings all work, car drives, etc. So well done. Wonder what happens when you hit 88mph in it...?
treone 332 Report post Posted October 23 Theres one in Porirua. Yup, Porirua 😊 I have seen it being driven on the motorway (once last year) and shortly after on display in the 'shop window' of the local vehicle certifiers (the one's who issue/regulate the industry I think). Pretty sure this one has the old 'black' plates too.

Allanw 854 Report post Posted October 23 In the very late 90's, I used to see one not far from Ponsonby, just about every time I went that way (Heading towards the Zoo). I assumed it was either someones daily, or that's where it broke down, and he pushed it to a new spot every now and then, so it didn't get towed 😄
Olaf 2,272 Report post Posted October 23 (edited) ‘85/‘86 I remember one in Welly, used to be something to do with a panel beaters around Cuba and Abel Smith. Black plate - MQ from memory? I have photos somewhere, mostly detail shots. It had had some linishing work, they’d clearly had a challenge keeping the tool straight. or maybe it was MK? Edited October 23 by Olaf Possibly MK plate

Driftit 812 Report post Posted November 14 There was one in the Paraparaumu Car museum for years and years. Saw quite a few of them in the US. Including a number that had been made to look like the Back to the future one. Seemed to have one at every car show and car museum.
