I am doing research now on how to convert frequencies in an 2010 E87 116i with CIC iDrive. 

Are the coding settings the same as per this thread with NCS expert and a DCAN cable? A shame this feature isn't editable in BimmerCode as it seems a lot more user friendly

Also, what is the process if I want to convert the maps? I have Japan 2009 Premium maps. Can I just get a copy of Premium 2020 NZ/Aus maps and put it on a USB stick and auto update? Or are there other coding settings that need changed for the Nav portion of the CIC?
