Hows this for Speed?

BTW: Please don’t tell me how fast your BMW 1.8L are cause they are not, end of story!

Hey! I'd be confident of taking auto 320s off the line, dunno how long I'd stay in front though, maybe to 60 kays?. A guy at school has an auto E36 318ti which I wouldn't mind pulling up next to him at a stop light to see what happens.

Mine is manual though so it is not too bad, but the hills of Wellington makes it go through gas qute a lot.

I'd take you off the line in mine - I think a few people on here can vouch it would win ^_^
I said auto 320s. -_-
I'ld put my 320i against your 320 anyday!, oh, BTW I found out how to make a BMW 318 really go fast!!

Drive to the top of a car park building and push it off... simple eh? provides two solutions:

1/ that is all they are good for.

&

2/ You can now claim on your insurance and purchase a 6cly BMW or a gay Honda if you feel that way inclined!

..in a word... NO.

I have an opinion on cars, valued or not, you have the right to agree or dis-agree.

If we lived in a world where you could not express your own opinion on any subject then you would find your-self living in a communist state (just talk to a North Korean).

We have the right (living in NZ) to express our opinion, which we must defend!

Some users might agree with me and some will dis-agree, this is good as it invokes debate.

I write for many Magazines in Auckland, they pay me well to express my opinion on lots of subjects, including cars, boats and computers.

Mr Duck

That is all very well and good....but an opinion that a car is "gay" is not an opinion, it is a senseless statement, just the thing on the site we are trying to avoid as it is statements like this that have started recent arguements and caused the site to have to undergo recent changes.

For the magazines you write for (which is awesome by the way, that would be a job I would love to do) I'm sure that you don't write your reasons for liking a car or boat or in fact computers is because they are "gay". That does nt show a high journalistic integrity.

Healthy educated debate is fine, and is in fact encouraged, just not senseless statements with no back up reasoning.

I am not trying to be a Nazi here, just doing my part to stop arguements etc starting for no reason.

Cheers

Haha, funny, dickhead.

If I WANTED a fast car I would have got a V8. Or I'll just pick up the old mans car, which will blow the doors of yours anyway.

Yeah, 320s are faster than 318s, but they still arent that fast. f**k I'd take my 5spd 318 over my aunts 320 auto (notice how the women go for autos, hmm, like you).

He's a leason you don't want to learn:

Well it was to be ready just after xmas, so being a bright spark that I am, I sold my only means of transport in late January.

The panelbeater told me he would have in ready at the end of january (I was away during this time). when I rang he said it was on track, so when one of my friends offered to buy by turck I let it go(didn't think I was going to get a better offer). I went into the panelbeaters shop the following monday at the time he said it would be ready and was supprised that he hadn't started the job at all!! Arrghhhhh!!!

So in the end I took a month of work and rebuild the Alfa myself, which really wasn't a nice job to do as I got very dirty and stressed.

The only saving grace was the kindness of the garage owner who alowed me to store and work on my car, he also gave a loan car during the weekends, in Auckland you don't meet many kind people most of em are arseholes, and sometimes I think I'm turning into one!

An Aucklander that is, not an a**hole!

..still in training to be an a**hole, yet to be qualified. Have had training from some BMW wreckers, they have down to a knack!

BTW: had dome fun with a guy and his turbo 323, he pulled up beside me at the lights and reved his engine, of course I wasn't intrested in racing to the next set of lights as there are better things to do than waste fuel, stress the car and uncessarly wear the tyres.

yeah right.

Lights changed green and I was gone, like MAN!! I was out-of-there. all I could hear was his stupid blow off valve whezzing and coughing like some sick smoker behind me.

oh well that was my 14.5sec of fun for today.

theDuck

P.S Leason learned: 1/ never, never believe any panelbeater who tell you that it's a simple job and it will be ready in a couple of weeks.

Does not happen.

A red one!

hahahha

Ok, it's a 1995 Alfa V6 DTM with a mulit valve/cam/injection

It has racing modified suspension with adjustable set-up.

Alf Performance computer chip and Alfa perormance exaust.

It gets most of its speed from the Power/Weight ratio.

The damm thing is slightly smaller than a Honda interga, but with a 2.5L V6.

I've included a photo I took last week of a racing meeting ("Yeah Right" - TUI™)

sick alfa. sounds like a whole lotta fun.

that 155 was the "quiet acheiver" of gran turismo 2 (along with the lancia delta intergrale evo). back in the day your friends would laugh in two player mode when you chose the only car in your garage without a "stage four" turbo.

then pack a sad when you owned them. ahh memories.

ahh f**k it, im off to video ezy to hire a ps1 and relieve my lost youth...
