airbox drilling

Recommended Posts

Guest Andrew

Well I was reading some threads on r3vlimited and some other forum about air box drilling. and decided to do it.. I didn't bother with the directions.. I mean who cares its not like you get performance or anything - I drilled heaps of little holes.. apparently randomly along the bottom of the airbox.. and removed a big assed cylindrical thing that looked like some kind of air intake silencer..

Well it sounds cool.. I may have lost some power.. I think it sucks in a lot of heat.. or I f**ked something up on the dizzy when I was putting it back in and my timing advance got undone - hah.

ah sh*t.. I worked out what the cirlce thing is.. from what i've gathered it speeds up the air to give a little more torque.. I'll pop it back in when i'm not feeling lazy.

arr the twisty circle thing is also there to stop water getting into the air intake. thats why there is a drain at the end of it.
