If you do any repairs to your steering system/ replace tie rods etc. Do not....and I mean do not....try to realign your wheels yourself. I did this, but still took mine to an alignment shop to check how well I had done. While I had the toe in angle pretty even, I was miles out of what the correct angle should have been. This means I would have chewed through my new tyres in no time flat. Many thanks to the guys at Newmarket Tyres for aligning my wheels again at a much reduced rate (the second time in three weeks), and if you want very good and ultra friendly service these guys are the top of the heap.
