I mean, sure its cool...... but is it really 75K cool?? yeah, really don't think so somehow, I fully appreciate the time and effort that has gone into it though perhaps a potential buyer will have some drug money to make disappear, because i'm certain if anyone had 75k.... that wouldn't be the car of choice 😂 shoot me for my thoughts but I can't be the only one

Shoot me but I love it, I've seen the hard work and level of attention that went into building this car. It's actually quite impressive to ride in too. Been in it a few times. Not for the purist I understand, but it was never built to meet everyone's expectations

    It's a 4 door E46. Nobody cares if it's not pure.

Or maybe the photo caught the wheel in mid-fold as that E90 transforms into a flying time machine.

Yeah, looks like they just nicked the curb when parking.

Worth it for the blue velour seat covers alone! No cruise control on that one @qube but it's a fairly easy retrofit. On Michelins all round which suggests it's been looked after.

I'm not sure why I never noticed. Too busy building a house and shed. But this E34 is not a TDS at all. It's a TD. You can actually see in the engine bay photo. Intake goes straight to the turbo. No intercooler. It has quite a bit less power than a TDS. So I am looking for an intercooler and a TDS ECU which I will then chip.

Is a struggle to decide what to run, so good to have options. Buying tyres is killing me though! Be cheaper buying a tyre machine I think

I did a little extra work to flatten the pipe section slightly, gained another few mm. This is the complete new mid section. I think I'll have to cut and reweld to tuck it up even higher. A job for another weekend. The resonator is now almost the lowest part, and I can't do much to move that upward anymore due to the driveshaft. In other news, the valve cover seems to be leaking oil onto the intake, and the power steering pump is making some noises... So will have to deal with that. I think the P/S fluid is puking out the breather, as it's completely coated the reservoir. May need to get something with more baffling to reduce the aeration. Always more to do.

No, its not a facelift. Its a prefacelift with an aftermarket fiberglass replica Mtech2 kit.

so you factor in some welding, or a door skin, or a door if you can find one for a coupe. You can pick holes in it from your armchair, or you can get an inspection done (by a BMW specialist!) or go see it for yourself. They're thirty year old classics, a perfect one will cost you over $30k now, and if it's rare it'll cost you $60k. They all need work, it's a question of being sure what needs doing, and is it worth it to you.
