Is this Facebook for kids? Or a BMW forum, for people to learn about cars? I guess haters will always hate. Absolutely nothing wrong with using an apartment address for your business headquarters. I use one of my rental properties. I'm not going to give anybody my real address. But I do own this property as well. As for those Dyno sheets that most people have. They mean absolutely nothing in the real world. A dyno is good for setting up ignition ,fuel, vvt, and a few other things. Many times I've had to pull power from the top end just to smooth out the mid-range transition. So the car ended up making less Peak power but produce much faster lap times. This is why I choose superchargers over turbos. You are not going to break boost into a tight turn from a high-speed just so you can have power on the exit. I guess this is why the Hyde Motor Works Supercharger kits are selling so well. When I first met Hyde, I was running an M90 from the Thunderbird SC, on my 93 325is. 9 PSI, 12 PSI once I sent the rotors out to be coated. He told me about his sc-14 project, and other projects He had in mind. Honestly I did not think there was a market for something like this. I thought I was the only one that like to stand out and do something completely different from everybody else. All my buddies run modified coyote Mustangs and LS Camaros. And told me to swap in an LS instead of playing around with that little BMW engine. I'm not going to say that I can beat every one of them, but I can hurt some feelings. That's all Hyde and me are offering, an option to do something different. At an extremely reasonable price. Yes you can buy a cheap turbo kit off of eBay. Then spend three times or more making it work right. Then have to replace cheap Turbo with an expensive one. Because the cheap one spit out a seal and spun a bearing. All these attacks on his character based on hearsay don't belong on this forum. For that , this will be my last post here. Go well, be safe, Godspeed.

Getting jiggy with it ... na naa na na yea naa. Seems to be working well enough, man these things are a lot of work !!! Once I have a little 'cradle' under all of the straight sections I'll probably just weld rods under / around the bends more as reference points than supports which will control direction also.

Quite a few clutch kits come with the wrong bearing, your ZF has a 15mm spigot and requires a 6002-2rs bearing.

Some "interesting" additions into the legislation when it was introduced into Parliament last week, exerpt of the Industry response below: The car industry is claiming a new addition to upcoming Clean Car regulations allowing officials to set a proportion of an importers’ vehicles that must be zero-emission is an ‘ICE ban by stealth’. The Land Transport (Clean Vehicles) Amendment Bill was introduced by transport minister Michael Wood, who has insisted multiple times that it will be enacted this year. Industry groups have been digesting the document, with their first analysis coming to light now. A major concern highlighted to AutoTalk by both the Motor Industry Association (MIA) and Motor Trade Association is under the Clean Car Standard of the changes, regulators may set a minimum proportion of an importers vehicles that must be zero carbon emissions. Both groups note this requirement has not previously been consulted on. “The ability to set, by regulation, a minimum level of BEVs is an ICE ban by stealth,” MIA chief executive David Crawford says. “This is a new requirement not previously consulted on and is something the MIA totally opposes at this point in time. “In our view the Government should not make this decision until the discount and standard have been in place for at least seven to 10 years so they can properly assess with the reduction on CO2 emissions is tracking as desired and also that there are viable low emissions vehicles available in mass.” MTA advocacy and strategy manager Greig Epps calls this their ‘stand out concern’. “The proposed regulations would impose a further penalty or fine on an importer who could not meet this target,” Epps explains. “This sort of mechanism was never discussed in any of the consultation papers and it is a double blow to those importers who deal primarily in ICE vehicles. “This mechanism could be used to introduce an ICE ban without any further consultation with the industry or the public. If the proportion was set high enough, it would make it impossible for an importer to bring in a mix of vehicles. This has been widely relayed in various industry and mainstream publications, in this instance the full article can be found on Evs and Beyond here.. https://evsandbeyond.co.nz/clean-car-bill-ice-ban-by-stealth/

I know I shouldn’t make fun of things like this…. but I did chuckle with the number plate and radar detector cord still being in place. Looks like Dad got a bit frisky in the M6…

The black ace of spades symbol is worn as jewellery or tattooed on women who keep themselves available for use by black men. It's a branch of polyamory. I acquired this hugely useful knowledge trying to figure out the wierd sh*t he was talking about last time. Just make sure you do an incognito search or the Mrs will be giving you some strange looks 😂

Interesting. I wasn't sure of the link between the the HMW logo and cuckold symbology so Googled cuckold symbol, but only found images of black bulls and micro penises. Can you please elaborate, sounds like it could be good for a laugh. We are overdue for a good bimmersport drama.

Given Hydes previous statements about NZ women and characterisation of Bimmersport members as "cuckloaders", would he care to talk about the links between the HMW logo and cuckold symbology? I guess he is just fortunate his meltdown didn't coincide with Tarants actions in Christchurch. He did well to leave NZ when he did but can be sure the folk at Pine Gap etc will always be watching.

I honestly wonder if the sale will go through. Seems like the seller just lost out big with a silly mistake. Could have probably got double if not into the teens easily. Everyone would pay $4,200 for it haha

Greetings! I just wonder, for someone who claims to be in a witness protection program, is it a very smart thing to do by publicly announcing this? And out of all places a BMW Forum. Are you sure its not called a public protection program with a lifetime supply of prescription pills? 😂 Honestly, our time is used more wisely by not discussing flat earth and covid conspiracy theories, batman, aliens, and perhaps now what remains is to pin the dinosaurs extinction among other things on people you dislike for your own shortcomings. Apart from that, we had a great laugh! Had some friends read it out loud the other day. Just brilliant, one friend was seriously concerned actually about you, poor chap. It maybe best you see a doctor, don't let the lock down get you down poor chap! 👍 Best Wishes Your wording speak much of your humble intellect and great wisdom. I would say you kids have following the foot steps of the previous "Great President" of the United States, remarkable resemblance and if you find enough people as yourselves you may also become a "Great Leader" to your country! For some reason some of us are thankful you are not. On a serious note, Its a pity what has become of this place. You represent this community and right now you are casting a bad light on it by posting and encouraging such behavior. Full stop. And in the end if anyone, it is the community and its owners that get into trouble because of what you said and allowed to be said. And no one should get into trouble because of your personal problems. I think its best you gentlemen follow the rules that are set, and clean up your mess and that of the ones you allowed, before someone decides its not fun and games anymore. As you know, morons with money can afford to play with you and have a laugh at your expense doing it, if they took you seriously that is. 😅 All the best! ====================== Thank you everyone, please excuse me, I must retire from this conversation before these kids get into trouble. Best wishes and warm regards. 😊👍

I've been ordering from FCP Euro for a bit over fifteen years now. They're good. Their FedEx rates are excellent. Service is very good. Prices are on the whole pretty good. I've tried Pelican, found them more difficult by comparison. I happily recommend FCP Euro. The less said about GST the better. Keep your orders under the threshold, all is good. Find 'what's my duty' on customs. govt. nz and use it. I would not use YouShop for anything at all. When I need drop-shipping for anything, I use MyUS.com - which gives me great service - customer-focussed service! - an address in USA and UK, a great web interface and a reasonable app, and excellent rates with FedEx, very good rates with DHL, and a choice of other carriers too.

Got the laser cutting on Monday ... removed the mill scale off the large flanges with white vinegar which worked great !! Drilled and tapped the M10 holes on the large flanges and drilled out the holes in the individual stainless flanges plus removed the cut start / stop marks. Have made the call to switch to mild steel for the headers, with a ceramic coat ... will probably work out the same overall insane cost but cheaper up front for the bends and better thermal performance ultimately. Next up I can assemble the bank 1 plastic headers onto a flange and start on the jig proper !! Yay.

I'm quite jealous of you doing it out of the car !! Just doing it with the plastic mock up parts was hard enough in the car ... glad that phase is over Lately just ripping through my first argon bottle practicing welding and prototyping the little jigs I will use to get square tube cuts (especially on the bends / donuts) as I don't have a bandsaw. The laser cutting has shipped from Hamiltron so should see that soon and be able to make the header jigs while I save up to buy the stainless bends ... also looking for a cheaper source as that sh*t is capital E expensive
