Basically all wrapped up now trim assembled Not usually a fan of chrome or amber lights but this colour combo really works. Found a nice set of 18" reps for it that suit perfect. Camera really doesn't do this color justice.

Instead they make will make blow torches haha (i3 incident) I wonder if any studies have been done to examine the co2 output of a singular fire from the specifications this runaway fire would produce.

If that is the reason for dropping it then BMW may as well drop all of their ICE engines πŸ˜‰

yes, Koni's, E90 top/drop hats and H&R sport springs. I do have 10mm spring pads in the rear to make that sag less...could do with another 5mm imo. I use to think the ride was abit harsh, but now I think it's perfect, depends on the roads really but for city, highway/spirited B roads and the odd driver training track day i think it's optimum. It's quite different to the Eibachs in the E46 but I guess thats an apples and oranges comparison.

Of all the 7er I do like the styling of an E38, in this case the kit and wheels make it look worse than a factory M-Sport to me. The wheels look to be an M-Par copy to my untrained eye. Reason to pay less for this one, not more.

I know you’ve got a thing against EVs, but the really funny part around that post is the fact the fire had nothing to do with the electrical elements of the car. How many petrol or diesel vehicles catch fire compared to EVs? Even as a percentage? How many petrol tankers or petrol stations catch fire compared to EV chargers? Moral of the story from the post above - if you pay peanuts for servicing you get monkeys working on your car, and this is what can happen. In general Don’t believe any scaremongering, do some research and make an informed decision.

@adro Gorgeous shots and car as always! Need an Mtech 2 wheel for mine. You are running H&R Sport with front drop hats, correct? It sits really nice - no facelift 'reverse rake' how do you find the ride (practicality) with that setup?

Put some 95 in it and it will wheel spin in 4th 🀣

Just another dealer trying to tell you its worth this much. Well maintained? So he has all the Japanese service logs and translated them? Plus everything else that's been mentioned.

Ohhhh baby.... https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/328i/listing/3441507154?bof=ZXTjCau1 An ex 318 touring with a certified 328 and coilover conversion. $15K no reserve, seems pretty reasonable to me? Not sold on the seat colour It does bug me when people sell cars without WOF's or even WOF attempts that have expired, especially when claiming it'll sail through without problems.

lol - I love how "Condition Based Servicing" sucks so much - engine oil change in 34,000 kms FFS. πŸ™„ Of course this is not a reflection on the seller, nor does it detract from what is ultimately a great deal. GLWS!

It comes down to looking after the environment, no surprises then that they are dropping the oil dripping coolant swallowing seal munching V12s.

Hey, I have this lying around if you want it, its NOS, and its for a 6 cylinder but you might be able to drill the rivets out and replace the dented bit on your one. PM me if you want it, I can put it on our truck next time its heading to Hamilton.

Nice, I'll look into them as well. I sent Auto38 an email around 2 weeks ago - it's good to know from others that they aren't here anymore, else I would've been forever waiting for a response πŸ˜„. Thank you Peter!
