  1. This is a good way to get a cheap Euro plate, which in my opinion looks a lot nicer that standard government plates on our cars. $300, free shipping. -- Plate is the German word for 'Scream / yell', so it's at least somewhat fitting for a German car!

    E36 M52 MAF

Hi, Having some issues with erratic idle and an infrequent slight loss of power. Spark plugs were replaced with no difference, but I've noticed when the MAF is disconnected, idle is perfect and there is no hesitation when revving in neutral. I've cleaned the MAF and again, no difference. I'm thinking the likely culprit is a bad MAF. My question is, is anybody willing to let me borrow their working MAF to test?
  3. Awesome, finally got it to work after combining both suggestions, thanks a million!
  4. Ta, I *think* I tried that, but I'll give that a try soon!
  5. Sorry if I haven't searched the forums enough for an answer, but I have one of the 2 button Siemens keys with remote unlocking After replacing the batteries a couple of years ago, not knowing that you have to be quick to not require a reinitialize, I had to go to the dealer to recode them. I only brought 1 key with me which went through the laundry and is now out of action, so I need to reprogram the second key which is identical. The dealership essentially just got in the car, held down a few buttons on the key and got it working. I found online a few variations on how to do this which mostly say: Get in the car, sit down, close the door, put the key in and turn it to "1" for a couple of seconds (not more than 5), then take out the key. Hold down unlock for a few seconds and while holding, press lock 3 times and let go of both buttons.. I have done that, and the LED flashes for about 10 seconds on the key but then nothing. Has anybody done this before who can tell me what I'm doing wrong or is it back to the dealership? Thanks!
  6. Would you mind if I had a look at the seats in person?
  7. Yeah, sold. Thanks guys
  8. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.as...581&ed=true Price dropped $590 Buy Now if done through a PM.
  9. It has certainly paid for itself. I was down to my last few demerit points before I bought this, and haven't had a ticket since. Thankfully they've reset now but I'm sure I'll need to get another one of these in the future.
  10. Hey, Looking to sell my Valentine One radar. It's just over 1 year old, which is nothing for one of these. Working perfectly, I still have the box and the stealth wiring kit unused. Selling as I need to buy a new phone, current one is giving up $640 for bimmersport members
  11. Have an oem genuine new bmw part number 11 53 1 722 531 thermostat housing / cover or "connection flange" which I do not require, no point having it here taking up space, hopefully somebody could use one. $10 + shipping

    FS: E36 things

I'll take the jack insert for $30 Can you PM me your bank account please?
  13. http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/ind...amp;startrow=26 Bought some this year from tisher / getbmwparts.com for $32.50 USD. $100 lol.
  14. Exactly. But most people selling cars don't sell them right after spending a couple grand servicing it. I reduce my budget by about $2k when buying a car and factor $2k in to get it up to scratch.
  15. Nobody want them? I'll throw in the euro plate surrounds free if you just take it away! Cant be bothered throwing away usable parts at the rubbish dump
